I’ve been a bit of a sook lately in terms of getting back into a routine and after a very stern talk with myself I’ve realised what my problem was 🙌 I was trying so hard to get BACK into the routine that I was in before America that I forgot about how unproductive and stressed out that exact routine actually made me 🤷‍♀️ I tried to force myself to go back to the gym and it quickly became a chore which lead me to freak out and honestly worry that I would never be able to find my motivation again. So instead of trying to get BACK to it, I created a NEW routine 💕 I thought about things that would get me excited and things that I enjoy doing and guess what! I trained not once, but TWICE today 💪 Smashed out a quick back session this morning and went back this afternoon to train arms and it felt GOOD! I’ve also reached out to my coach who has agreed to help me get back on track with my nutrition and training and I’m getting back into the swing of editing vlogs and it feels INCREDIBLE to finally feel like I’ve got my mojo back 💃 Body comp wise, I’ve set myself some goals to achieve over the next few weeks and hopefully once all the USA vlogs are edited and uploaded I’ll be able to fill you guys in and bring you along for the ride 📹 In case you can’t tell, I’ve got those post workout endorphins flowing right now so here’s your daily dose of inspiration from someone who just found theirs - there is nothing more powerful than a woman determined to rise ✨ So go out and get some shit done this week. At it's core, it's just a fasting window (don't eat) followed by a feeding window (do eat). That's it. Don't overthink it. - 🐿️FASTING WINDOW: the thing that makes IF "different" is the daily fasting window is relatively long (btw 12-20hrs depending on the protocol) & strict (0 calories are to be taken in). - 👨🏻🍳Personally, I prefer a fasting window of 18-20hrs because BUT, experiment & do what works best for you. Water, tea, seltzer & coffee are generally what your fasting window should be made up of. - 🌵FEEDING WINDOW: this is the time frame in which you can eat. The MOST IMPORTANT thing to understand is CALORIES STILL COUNT. Regardless of whether or not you IF, calories are king. So some people eat 1 big meal with IF & others (like me) eat 2 meals in the window. Regardless, you need to make sure your calories are in check. - 🏓If you strength train in the afternoon, you're set. Just eat your pre-workout meal before training. If you workout in the morning while in a fasted state, you'll burn fat faster. - 🍄As for the essentials...that's it. Nothing fancy or crazy. Fast. Feed. Repeat & remember 👉CALORIES ARE KING regardless of when (or how often) you eat. Intermittent Fasting is NOT magical or special & it certainly doesn't give you any "metabolic advantage." M O N D A Y G R I N D T I M E👊🏻 • • Instead of going into Monday thinking how much you hate your current physique/ fitness levels go into it with appreciation for all that your body can do. Yes you may not be your ideal shape/ size right now. But the process of changing your weight/body composition/ fitness or strength whatever it is, will be far easier & far more enjoyable if you do it from a place of love& acceptance. • • I’m not saying go out and shout to the world how much you adore your jeans not fitting right on you anymore or lying about how you feel uncomfortable in yourself, but instead of hating so much on the things like the scale or how you look pick something you like about yourself, or something that you are seeing improvements in. • • Think outside the box actually, how incredibly amazing your body is and all the amazing things it can do instead of constantly beating it down. You can change your weight/body composition but you can’t change who you are and if you don’t like yourself now you more than likely ain’t gonna like yourself much more if your a few stone lighter

Well here’s my #mondaymotivation. It’s officially been a year since I started training properly. Left pic 20 July 2017 and right pic today 😁 . There have been ups, downs and what felt like going round and round in circles at points but it’s all been worth it. I could not have done it without @rff_nutrition guiding me through and being there through all my whining, messages and frustrations. Massive thank you for all your support, through EVERYTHING! . Today was legs and abs for the first time in about 3 weeks coz of my back and I went IN! . This is a life change and there ain’t no going back now!

No, the bun isn't a magical fake bread bun...just a regular old bread bun. And yes, real cheddar. And that big ol side salad is mandatory, cos health. But feel free to jazz it up with your favourite veggies yeh? Instead of restricting your favourite foods, look to find ways to include them with alterations if you need to manage calories more closely. Instead of saying "I'm not eating any of my favourite foods at the moment"...try out "I'm making my favourite foods with some adjustments to fit my goals" 🙃👍 #burger
