It is through the willingness to consistently grow that you become stronger, discover your purpose, and fuel the fire within your soul. ❤️⠀ ⠀ Update & Honesty Moment Below:⠀ ⠀ This past week was a toughie for me...life just seemed hard and things weren’t exactly going in the direction that I intended. Anyone else know what I’m sayin’?⠀ ⠀ I am so proud of the physique that I brought to the competition stage for my first show but I have been pushing REALLY hard since to make improvements and bring an even better package this second time around. ⠀ ⠀ This week the hunger, tiredness, and grouchiness really took me over and I personally had some major mental battles fighting the negativity and reminding myself of my long term goals and why I am continuing to push myself to the limit!⠀ ⠀ I originally was planning on competing August 5, which is only two weeks away. For me that was a short term goal and mini light at the end of the tunnel to look forward too. Unfortunately...along with all of the prep feels this week I also have made the decision not to compete in the August 5th show in Myrtle Beach, SC. This was not due to competition prep what so ever...this was a decision made based off of some things going on in real life. ⠀ ⠀ At first the decision to not do this show was pretty heart breaking because I had my goal in mind and I didn’t want to let myself down. However, plans change, things happen, and sometimes you just have to GO WITH THE FLOW!⠀ ⠀ I will now be competing a week later in Richmond, VA and at the end of August in Charleston, SC. I think making these decisions to compete a bit later was the best thing I could do with where I am at right now! I had to take a hard look at my attitude and my outlook this past week but I am happy to say that I have switched (am switching) my mindset to a much more positive note!⠀ ⠀ CONTINUED IN COMMENTS...⠀

It might seem kinda lame to an outsider that I would stay home on a Saturday night and meal prep, but anyone can go to the gym for an hour a few days a week. This.. Dieting requires commitment and strategy. I always hear the word hard. That it's hard. When in the hell did scrambling eggs become hard? No it's not. It just requires energy. It just requires you to get your lazy ass up and sweat a lil. Recognize the difference. Because the real hard is looking in that mirror everyday and seeing a half assed version of yourself that's making the conscious choice to not give a fuck. We might not all have the same circumstances I get that, but we can all make better decisions that reflect upon what we truly want. Tomorrow is a new day.. What's it gonna be damnit?! The summer holidays are finally upon us! We’ll be continuing with personal training clients and our evening classes until 16 August and then we’ll be closed for 2 weeks at the end of August. One of our lovely trainers is around for the last 2 weeks of August so if you did want a session then please do drop us a message. The more clients I’m working with, the more I’m learning that far too often my female clients haven’t been putting themselves first. They’re mommas, wives, business women, business owners. They cook, clean, wash clothes, grocery shop, attend endless school, work and kids sporting events. They help with homework, fix lunches, kiss boo-boos, spend time with their SO’s, and by the end of the day, they’ve spent zero time on themselves, for themselves. Sound familiar? We, as women, are nurturers by nature. We care for others first, it’s how we were raised, it’s the examples that other women have set for us, and it’s incredibly selfless and beautiful. But queens, listen up, YOU have to take time for YOU. You have to do things solely for YOU, whether it’s pushing to be a healthier version of yourself, working out, getting a massage, or simply taking a long, hot, uninterrupted bubble bath. You can’t pour from an empty cup. Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish. Wanting to be a better version of yourself isn’t selfish. You can’t constantly give love to others and neglect to give it to you. Taking care of yourself physically, mentally and spiritually isn’t just the best thing you can do for yourself, it’s the best thing you can do for your family too. I went a week without pancakes! I didn’t die, but it’s made me look forward to my local cafe @bramble_cafe_giffnock for a good brekkie. • I love scrambled eggs with them. It always balances them...for me. So many people say eggs as well waaat and I’m like 🤷🏼‍♀️, whatever works for you 💕🌟

i'm slowly reaching/ getting close to some goals of mine and i'm soooo happy about it. and i've completely accepted the fact that i will gain some body fat (a lot or a little.. praying for just a little) during bulking. no matter if it's a lean bulk or just regular bulk, you will get some body fat with it. but i will say that i definitely have been feeling stronger in the gym i feel like i can more weight than i normally do or go for extra reps/ sets. making progress in the gym is one of my favorite things everrrr. it makes me feel SO good about myself afterwards. i'm super excited to see how much more progress i make in the future toooo 😊✨ side note: i'm actually not flexing my arm in this even though it kinda looks like it. i thought how the light was hitting it looked cool🤦‍♀️😂

i had one of the best & worst workouts ever today. i had a migraine the entire time and it made me just want to go home. obviously i ignored that and kept pushing because i had so much energy to. usually caffeine makes my headaches go away and when i was at the gym the only thing with caffeine in it is energy drinks & i ended up drinking 2 of them (please don't come at me in the comments talking about how bad they are for me. i already know.) which explains why i had so much energy😂 but i pushed myself so freaking hard this workout and did some extra reps & sets i tried out some new movements, and also added more weights to some movements/ added more weight after each set i do (i love doing this. i do it for almost everything). my little leggies were burning so bad i definitely killed them today but its okay😂 all of my workouts recently have been SO intense for me & hard, i love it so much & makes me feel so good after them. anddd alsooo i'm gonna be recording some abs movements & circuits tomorrow after my workout because that was requested & i also still have a upper body super set to post🤦‍♀️i was gonna record the abs stuffs today but i had to leave because my head was slowly killing me.
