Week 10 Arms βœ”οΈ One thing I've learned as a stay-at-home mom is that I'll never complete anything uninterrupted, but that doesn't mean I should do nothing. My mindset used to be, "well, I won't be able to finish this task, so why bother trying?" And nothing ever got done until the kids were in bed. Now if all I get unloaded from the dishwasher is the silverware tray before I gotta tend to a fussy baby or wipe a toddler butt, that's still more than I had done before I started. Today my workout was split into about 3 chunks when the baby needed a change of scenery and later needed to go down for a nap. But it didn't stop me from finishing eventually. You just gotta start. You'll find a way and time to continue and finish. I thought For today’s #100strongchallenge intention would be authenticity. It’s so easy to only want to show our best selves on instagram. Don’t get me wrong I love seeing the beautifully curated accounts and all of the progress that hard work affords this amazing fit community. Yet if we’re only ever seeing each other at our perfect state how authentic are we being with even ourselves? So today I thought I’d share with you two versions of me. I’m still the same hard working, sometime struggle bussing woman in each photo. I have all the confidence in the world with this strong body God gave me and I intend on making it even strongerπŸ’ͺ🏾

There are a million and one reasons to workout but hands-down my favorite is feeling strong and powerful. I’ve noticed that the invincible fitness-high has escalated lately to a very raw momma bear feeling that nothing, literally nothing, could keep me from protecting my child. When my exercise endorphins get pumping I find myself thinking how I could literally take on a lion for her, and win. Similar fearless scenarios of me defending the babe play through my mind whenever I’m deep in the cardio zone and it really just leaves me feeling empowered and in touch with my strength as a woman/mom...
