A blazing sunset captured at Lake Hayes in Queenstown, New Zealand. Capturing the last light of the day can provide you with stunningly vibrant, natural colours. - Taken by @adingattamimi Camera: Nikon #D850 Lens: NIKKOR AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8G ED

"The magestic Linguist being washed after her race during the race meeting at Moonee Valley. This track has a beautiful dark wall behind the wash bay which makes these photos great, especially when there is perfect light." - @vinnycenzo_ig Camera: Nikon #D500 Lens: NIKKOR AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Settings: f/4 | 1/1600 sec

Heimskautsgerðið, Iceland. "Set in the remote, northern tip of the country, this modern Pagan monument looks like it was transported straight from ancient times. Like it’s predecessor Stonehenge, it acts like a huge sundial, which aims to capture the sun rays between its arches. A blizzard was coming in off the ocean with heavy snowfall on the way. This was the calm before the storm when the light was just incredible. A good tip when shooting these structures is to use Nikon's Virtual Horizon feature to help balance the image using the guidelines." -@dkphotography Camera: Nikon #D850 Lens: NIKKOR AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR Settings: ISO 80 | f/14 | 1 sec

"The autumn colours at their peak in New Zealand are like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The colours are so much more vibrant; and everywhere. I took this shot just before the sun dipped below the hills at Lake Hayes near Queenstown. The last of the light was hitting the trees just at the edge of the perfectly still lake, highlighting them against the background. I sat at this vantage point for about half an hour prior to taking the shot hoping the light would make the colours pop but I had no idea just how much they would stand out. It was all over in about 2 minutes but I’m glad I was there and ready to catch it." - @keatingcolm Camera: Nikon #D750 Lens: NIKKOR AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR Settings: ISO 400 | f/5.6 | 1/200sec

"The Roy's Peak Track on New Zealand's South Island is famous for it's breathtaking views. It's a gruelling climb but the pay off is incredible when you reach the top and can feast your eyes on this incredible beauty. In the spirit of packing light, I decided to leave my prime lenses at the hotel and packed my Nikon 24-85mm Zoom lens which gave me heaps of options for compositions at the top." @deenhanson Camera: Nikon #D750 Lens: NIKKOR AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR Settings: ISO 500 | f3.5 | 1/2000 sec

"This was one of those lucky moments where the stars just happened to align (or in this case the moon). We were rock climbing in the Blue Mountains and as the sun began to set we walked around the cliff to try one final route before calling it a day. As we rounded the cliff, looking up at the steep prow, the moon sat perfectly in line with the cliff. It's moments like these that give me a jolt of electricity and why I love photography. It turns the real into the surreal. Every time I go out climbing, even if I don't have plans on capturing the action, I always take my camera. You just never know when a moment like this will present itself." - Phillip Booth (@splatterflower) #nikonallaction Camera: Nikon #D750 Lens: NIKKOR AF-S 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G IF ED VR Settings: ISO 2000 | f/5.6 | 1/200 sec

"This image was shot on the outskirts of Hobart, Tasmania, right at dawn. We were racing to get to the airport to make our flight home when we saw a lone tree amongst some blanketing fog. The morning's golden light was streaming in so gracefully that we literally slammed on the brakes in awe. We had just enough time to hand hold a shot and take in the sight with our own eyes. It's so important that we don't get carried away looking at the world through our viewfinders. We always need to make time to take in this worlds beauty with our own eyes!" -@mattzpixz Camera: Nikon #D850 Lens: NIKKOR AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR Settings: ISO 100 | f/6.3 | 1/800 sec | 70mm

"Built in the 1870s and part of the old Abattoir, Robb Jetty was originally way too short to offload cattle. The animals were pushed off the ships that brought them down from the Kimberley where they swum ashore with the men sitting in their boats herding them onto the beach. The Jetty is located on the beautiful C Y O'Connor Beach, which is named after the man responsible for the construction of Iconic Fremantle Harbour." - @elektrablackphotography Camera: Nikon #D750 Lens: NIKKOR AF-S 16-35mm f/4G ED VR Settings: ISO 100 | f/13 | 1/10 sec | 17mm
